Like many families across the U.S. in this post COVID-19 world, Reese Witherspoon has scaled down her Thanksgiving celebration.
This year she decided to stay at home and share the holiday with husband, Jim Toth, and her three kids Ava, Deacon and Tennessee.
And the acclaimed actress also gave her 24.6 million Instagram fans and followers a taste of all the day’s festivities by sharing some photos and videos, along with a shout-out to all the healthcare workers on the frontlines during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

‘Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours. Feeling very grateful for all the frontline workers, medical workers and people who are caring for others today,’ Witherspoon, 44, captioned a photo of the family as they stood around their decorated dinner table.
‘And I’m deeply grateful for ALL of you! Sending my LOVE.’
Flashing her trademark infectious smile, the Academy Award winner looks stylish in a black and blue floral dress that was cinched-in at the waist with a tie-belt.
She rounded out her ensemble by styling her blonde tresses long, straight and with a part in the middle.

Toth, 50 can be seen with his left arm on his wife’s hip while she snuggles up next to their eight-year-old boy Tennessee.
Looking more and more like her mother, Ava, 21, looked fabulous in an orange, brown and white floral dress, while Deacon, 17, kept it casual and stylish in an all-black ensemble.
Both Ava and Deacon’s father is actor Ryan Phillippe, whom their mother divorced in 2007.

Witherspoon also stunned in a green and black dress when she made a Thanksgiving post on her Draper James Instagram page, the clothing line company she founded in 2015.
‘Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! I’m so grateful for this Draper James community. Wishing you all a wonderful, happy, healthy Thanksgiving. Thankful for all of you! xo Reese,’ she wrote in the caption.
Being the hands on mother that she is, the Walk The Line star kicked-off her holiday by going on a walk with at least two of her four-legged family members.
‘Starting out day with a walk in the woods,’ she wrote across the top of a video clip of herself and her chocolate Labrador Retriever, with the song — Good Morning Friend by Johnny Cash — playing in the background.
‘We walked extremely slow and stopped at every tree,’ she added.

In another post, several hours later, the Louisiana native changed songs to — The Temptations’ The Way You Do The Things You Do — when she showcased her colorful and festive dinner table.
The camera panned to show a bouquet of flowers, mini pumpkins, squash, and the lovely dinner set that included plates and glassware.
She also gave a peak at what appeared to include sweet potatoes baking in the oven, and the end result of her hard work when she added marshmallows to the sweet dish.

Witherspoon also shared some words of wisdom when she posted a quote her friend and media mogul, Oprah Winfrey.
Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.’
