The GQ Men Of The Year Awards returned for its 23rd year, on Thursday.
And, Sir Captain Tom Moore ditched his zimmer frame to go FREE RUNNING in his video acceptance speech as he won the Inspiration Awards at the virtual ceremony in association with Hugo Boss.
The former British Army officer raised £32.79 million for charity during the Covid-19 pandemic by walking laps in his garden before his 100th birthday.

While videoed doing further laps around his property, he spoke about his achievement he said: ‘Ahh yes. The lap around the around. That’s how it all started, I suppose.
‘At first it felt quite hard. But then, when those endorphins kick in, you know it’s hard to stop.’
At this point, Sir Captain Tom Moore abandoned his zimmer frame and was filmed running off into the distance.
He continued: ‘I suppose I got quite good at it. I didn’t want to draw any more attention to myself,’ said the star as his stunt double pretended to hobble on a walking stick while a jogger passed him by.

‘Ahh yes and a half marathon win. No big deal. Just luck I suppose. It’s not much really. I’m very much at the beginning.
‘I need to work on my backflip. Take up skateboarding. Let’s not get carried away. Baby steps first,’ joked the star.
