Saturday Night Live is giving Morgan Wallen a second chance.
The country artist was dropped as the show’s musical guest in October for being caught enjoying some very COVID-19 unsafe partying ahead of his performance.
But the Whiskey Glasses singer, 27, is getting another opportunity to serenade America, just announced as the performed for December 5th’s episode hosted by Jason Bateman.

Wallen was scratched from performing on the NBC juggernaut on October 10th after he was seen in a TikTok clip not wearing a mask on two separate instances in Alabama, a bar and a party.
The Way I Talk singer apologized after getting the boot, saying: ‘I respect the show’s decision because I know that I put them in jeopardy and I take ownership for this,’ also noting that his actions were ‘pretty short-sighted.’
The 7 Summers performer was replaced by Jack White on the October broadcast, though SNL head Lorne Michaels did say at the time that Wallen would eventually take the stage.

The woman, who posed while close to the mask-free singer, captioned the videos ‘I met morgan wallen last night…’

The rest of December’s slate will pair Timothee Chalamet with legends Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band on the 12th.
SNL’s pre-Christmas episode on December 19th will star SNL alum Kristin Wiig with musical guest Dua Lipa.
